His Excellency Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, stressed the importance of developing areas of joint cooperation between the Cooperation Council and the European Union in the interests of common interests.
This became known during his meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue 2022 forum, which is being held with the wide participation of more than 400 participants. from various countries through senior ministers, security officials, military leaders and scientists from 18 to 20 November.
During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest were considered, and the relationship between the Gulf countries and Europe, as well as the document of free trade negotiations between the two parties, as well as the importance of inviting technical groups to consider their developments, in order to serve the common interest and strengthen trade and economic relations between the two sides.
