Al Ittihad team continued training yesterday afternoon under Portuguese coach Nuno Santo in preparation for the resumption of the Saudi Roshan League with all players except for Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, who is with Morocco for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
However, it was confirmed that Al Ittihad’s match against Al Shabaab has been rescheduled for next Thursday due to the participation of Moroccan international Abdel-Razzak Hamdallah in the World Cup semi-finals, with a new match date to be determined later.
Santo aims to prepare the team during this period of two weeks or more in preparation for the meeting with Al Shabab next weekend, specifically on Thursday, December 22, in the 1/8 finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Places Cup.
