On Friday, the Ministry of Sports announced the suspension of sports competitions until Monday due to the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, so the Professional League Competitions Committee postponed the matches of the remaining rounds of the competition.
Al Ittihad were scheduled to host their counterpart Al Hilal on Sunday at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium before the match was rescheduled for May 23, with an explanatory statement from Al Ittihad saying: “Due to rescheduling of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Pro League Round 27 matches. Tickets purchased under the previous date will allow holders to attend the match on the new date and tickets will not be reissued while seat tickets available through the website will be subject to still on sale.
