Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Council of Ministers and Climate Envoy Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir met yesterday with the Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Civil Justice and Home Affairs, Mr. Juan Fernando López. Aguilar on the sidelines of His Excellency’s visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union and ways to strengthen and develop them in all areas, especially in the light of the Kingdom Vision 2030, and exchanged views on many issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the European Union, Saad bin Muhammad Al-Arifi.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Council of Ministers and Climate Envoy Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir also yesterday met with Ms Maria Arena, Member of the European Parliament and Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights, on the sidelines of His Excellency’s visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.
During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union related to the promotion of human rights and discussed aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in this regard, especially in the light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in addition to discussing the most important regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the European Union, Saad bin Muhammad Al-Arifi.
