Al-Sumi said: “The Observatory is monitoring the humanitarian crises in Yemen caused by the Houthi militia blocking roads and preventing the delivery of humanitarian, food and emergency aid to the Yemeni people, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has warned. of these actions that prevent the delivery of medical supplies to approximately 12 million children and 5 million women.”
Al-Sumi pointed out that the Arab Observatory for Human Rights monitors the human rights situation in all Arab countries and appreciates all the positive steps taken in this area.
Al-Sumi confirmed that the Arab Observatory for Human Rights rejects any outside interference under the pretext of protecting human rights, which is the main task for which it was created, noting that periodic reports on the state of human rights in the Arab countries will be prepared. counter these attempts and promote the Arab human rights system.
