Earlier, Algerian television reported that President Tebboun had dismissed 16 governors and 3 delegated governors.
Tebbun reported that the republic’s governors were evaluated twice, stating: “We have done two evaluations and two transfers through the line of governors, and the third evaluation is at the door.”
During a periodic meeting held by President Tebbone with members of the national press, the President of the Republic said that the first assessment of governors was through shadow areas, which some took sarcastically from him, but now that we have given greater powers to governors.
He continued: “Today they have no arguments, because the governor himself is the one who controls his powers.”
