Today, Thursday, the quarter-finals of the 2022 Arab States Cup among juniors will start, which will be held in the Algerian city of Oran and will last until September 8.
Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Sudan, Yemen, Tunisia, Iraq, Morocco and Egypt advanced to the quarter-finals after each had a successful career in the tournament’s group stage.
Algeria will face their Tunisian counterpart at 4:30 pm, while Yemen will play Sudan at 8:00 pm local time at Mostaganem Stadium.
Algeria topped the first group with 9 points with 3 wins, while Tunisia finished second in the second group with 5 points with one win and two draws.
On the other hand, Sudan finished second in Group A with 6 points after two wins and losses to face their Yemeni counterpart, the leader of the second group, with 5 points after one win and two draws.
The quarter-final matches are scheduled to end with two matches on Friday, with Saudi Arabia taking on Iraq at 16:30 and the Egyptian team playing Morocco at 20:00 local time at Mostaganem Stadium.
