Today, stations of the Egyptian National Seismic Network recorded an earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale 135 km southeast of the city of Marsa Matruh.
The head of the National Institute of Astronomical and Geophysical Research, Dr. Ghad Al-Qadi, said in a statement that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 3.02 km, 30.63 degrees north latitude and 28.38 degrees east longitude.
He pointed out that the National Institute of Astronomical and Geophysical Research did not report that citizens felt the earthquake or loss of life and property.
