A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook the eastern province of Samar and surrounding areas of the Philippines today.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 18 kilometers southwest of the city of Hernani at a depth of 28 kilometers.
There were no reports of casualties or property damage.
