An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit Sumba Island in Indonesia today.
According to the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology and Geophysics, the epicenter of the shock was 33 km northeast of the city of Waingapu on the island of Sumba, at a depth of 59 km.
There were no reports of human or material losses.
