Arab Cup: Young Greens meet Palestine. Tomorrow Egypt will meet with Algeria

The 2022 Arab Youth Cup semi-final will take place tomorrow, where Saudi Arabia will face their Palestinian counterpart and Egypt will play Algeria.

The match between Saudi Arabia and Palestine will start at 16:30 at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Mahalla.

Al-Akhdar took the lead of the first group with 6 points, beating Mauritania 2-0 followed by Iraq 4-1. In the quarter-finals, the Yemeni team beat the Yemeni team 3-1 on penalties after a 0-0 draw in normal time.

On the other hand, the Palestinian team qualified among the best (second place) as they finished second in Group F with 3 points after defeating Sudan 5–3, then losing to Morocco 0–1 and defeating Jordan 5–4 in the quarter-finals. On penalties, after the end of normal time, draw 1-1.

In the second match of the semi-finals, the Egyptian team will meet their Algerian counterpart at 21:00 at the City Stadium named after Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz in Mahalla.

Egypt finished first in Group D with 6 points, beating Oman 1-0, then Somalia 2-0 and in the quarter-finals they defeated Morocco 2-1.

On the other hand, the Algerian team came out on top in Group C with 6 points after two wins over Lebanon 2-1 and Libya 3-1 before beating Tunisia in the quarter-finals with no answer.

It is noteworthy that the final match of the Arab States Cup among youth teams under 20 will take place next Sunday evening.
