Seventh Edition of Arab Futsal Cup 2023
The seventh edition of the Arab Futsal Cup 2023 was recently launched in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Sports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Professor Abdul-Ilah Al-Dallak, the Secretary General of the Arab Football Association, Dr. Raja Allah Al-Salami, and the Secretary General of the Saudi Federation, Professor Ibrahim Al-Qasim.
Competition Details
The event is organized by the Arab Football Association and hosted by the Saudi Federation in the hall of the Ministry of Sports in the province of Jeddah. The competition started on 6th June and will last until 16th June.
Match Results
The first match saw Saudi Arabia beat Algeria 4:3. Saudi Arabia’s goals were scored by Abdullah Al-Otaibi (two goals) and Mohsen Faqihi (two goals), while Algeria’s goals were scored by Bilal Turki, Ammar Bassa, Abdul-Razzaq Al-Shankiti (reverse goal) and Ezzedine Tekgrad.
The second match of the day saw Libya beating Tajikistan 2:1. The goals of the Libyan national team were scored by Ahmed Al-Anaf and Muhammad Said, and the goal of the Tajikistan national team was scored by Vizali Sardorov.
Upcoming Matches
Tomorrow, Wednesday, following the results of the first round of the group stage, there will be 4 matches between Morocco and the Comoros, Kuwait and Lebanon, Egypt and Mauritania and Palestine with Iraq.
