The Arab Parliament warned of the dangers of the Israeli occupying authorities continuing to excavate around the Al-Aqsa Mosque, targeting its foundations, as well as preventing the Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem from repairing and maintaining the mosque to protect its structure.
In a statement today, the Arab Parliament condemned the Israeli plan to Judaise and seize large areas of the occupied city of Jerusalem, as well as to alter the historical and religious monuments of the city, calling on UNESCO and all relevant international organizations to assume their responsibility for ending the ongoing aggression against Jerusalem and its holy places through practical and effective measures.
The Arab Parliament called on the international community to take immediate and urgent action to stop these violations of religious shrines, emphasizing the importance of the United Nations sending a fact-finding committee to review the situation in Jerusalem.
