The Arab Parliament expressed its deep concern over the events in the Libyan capital Tripoli, calling on the Libyan parties to show restraint and give priority to the highest national interests in order to preserve the lives and opportunities of the Libyan people and get out of this critical stage with minimal losses.
In today’s statement, the Arab Parliament reaffirmed its full support for everything that will help restore stability in Libya and return the language of dialogue to its arena and between its various parties, leading to the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections. , warning of the danger of leaving the state a victim of waves of violence between the conflicting parties.
He stressed the importance of the meetings of the joint committee on the constitutional process between the House of Representatives and the Libyan state, hosted by Egypt and under the auspices of the United Nations, to move forward towards strengthening security and stability in Libya and realizing the aspirations of his people.
