The Saudi Pro League Club Licensing Committee made the decision at its meeting held yesterday, Sunday, May 14, 2023 AD, led by Abdulaziz Al Hamidi, Committee Chairman, and in the presence of members, Dr. Granting. Asian and local licenses for the 2022-2023 sports season to clubs (Al-Hilal, Al-Faihaa, Al-Ittihad Al-Nasr, Al-Fateh, Abha, Al-Adala, Al-Batin) to perform compulsory sports infrastructure, administrative , legal and financial standards as specified in the club licensing list approved by the Asian Football Confederation. The committee also decided not to grant Asian and local licenses for the 2022-2023 sports season. due to their non-compliance with a number of mandatory criteria stipulated by the club licensing rules.
Unlicensed clubs have the right to appeal decisions made to the Saudi Arabian Professional League Club Licensing Appeal Committee no later than May 20, 2023 AD.
