Barack Obama and his wife Michelle will return to the White House on September 7 to revive a tradition broken by former President Donald Trump by showing their official photo.
The US administration said in a statement that this is a celebration that usually gives presidents the opportunity to honor their ancestors, and that US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill will receive Obama and his wife next Wednesday in one of the halls of the White House.
This is the second time the former Democratic president has returned to the White House, where he last visited in April 2017 for a public event on health care spending.
