Former Al Ahly president Abdullah Batterji has criticized the club’s current management for agreeing to player Talal Absi going on vacation for his wedding on the same day of the fateful match, and they know the team’s trouble is in defense.
Batterjee appeared in a video clip that was circulated on social media stating: “Al-Ahli presented a big match against Al-Nasr and Talal Absi helped fill in the gaps in the defense, how did the administration allow this player to accept temporary marriage leave on the day of an important, fateful match for the team?!”
“Talal Absi’s marriage ceremony could have been delayed by a day or two,” he added.
Batterjee also criticized the team’s plan against Al Raed, stating “The way the coach played against Al Raed didn’t work out and it was better for him to play the way he played with all the success and superiority against Al Nasr.”
He concluded, “This administration is amazing!”
