The Abha club has signed a contract with 42-year-old Belgian coach Sven van Denbroek, who will coach the first team for the first two seasons.
Belgian Sven has experience in African stadiums, having won the Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon while working as an assistant coach in the 2016-2017 season.
Van Denbroek then took over the technical management of the Zambian national team while his most famous Arab stations with clubs in Morocco were accompanied by the Royal Army where he led him to the Moroccan Cup in the 2021-2020 season.
It is noteworthy that the Abha team finished ninth with 35 points in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional League last season and showed a good level and performance.
