United States President Joe Biden has asked the State Department to release up at 350 millions additional dollars worth of weapons from US stockpiles to Ukraine on Friday as he struggles to fend off a Russian invasion.

In a note to the secretary of State Antony Blinken, Biden ordered 350 millions dollars allocated through the Foreign Assistance Act be designated for Ukraine defense.

On Saturday, Blinken said in a statement that this third authorization for arms shipments to Ukraine were “unprecedented”.

The Netherlands will provide 200 Stinger air defense rockets to Ukraine as quickly as possiblethe Dutch government noted in a letter to parliament on Saturday.

Belgium pledged 2,000 machine guns and 3,800 tons of fuel.

France has decided to send defensive military equipment in Ukraine for support the country against Russia invasion, a French military spokesman said on Saturday, adding that the issue of Sending in progress offensive weapons was still under consideration.
