Al Ettifak have signed Brazilian goalkeeper Paulo Victor to represent the first football team next season during the sporting season with a preference for an extension to another season.
Victor has represented in his career many clubs in Brazil or during his career in Portugal and Turkey, where he played for Flamengo and Grêmio in Brazil, in addition to the Turkish team of Gaziantepspor and Martimio from Portugal.
Paulo Victor has achieved many achievements in his career since he won the league title in 2009 with Flamengo, and with the team the Copa Brazil title in 2013, and with the Brazilian Grêmio the Copa Libertadores title in 2017 and the Copa Recopa South America 2018.
The agreement kicked off the preparations for his new season with the replacement of French coach Patrice Carteron, who has shown an outstanding level in the team since his presence and supervision in the team’s last eight matches.
Al-Ettifak’s training will begin next Friday in Dammam as part of the first phase of preparation for the new season, where players will undergo medical checks before leaving for the outer camp, to be announced later.
