China has a unique love relationship with Russia that she could use to end Russia’s three weeks invasion of Ukraine, the United States said on Monday.

Speaking after National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan sat down down with senior Chinese official Yang Jiechi, State Department spokesman Ned Price, said Beijing “has considerable leverage with Russia.”

The price did not speak directly to the claims, which cite an anonymous US officialni the White House in his reading of Sullivan’s meeting with Yang.
