And the day before, 1,829 new cases of infection with the Corona virus were reported in China, including 382 with symptoms and 1,447 without symptoms.
No new deaths were recorded in China, bringing the number to 5,226.
As of Tuesday, there have been a total of 243,081 confirmed symptomatic cases in mainland China.
The capital, Beijing, has reported a new localized infection with symptoms, compared to no cases reported the day before. No asymptomatic cases have been reported in the city as of the previous day, according to local authorities.
Shanghai, the Chinese financial center, reported localized asymptomatic and asymptomatic infections on Tuesday.
Shenzhen, a technology hub in southern China, reported 37 new local infections on Tuesday, up from 35 the day before.
