Al Taawon Club first football team beat their counterpart from Al Bateen 1-0 in a match between the two teams tonight, Thursday, at the King Abdullah City Stadium in Buraydah, as part of the twenty-seventh round of the competition Arab League Cup of Prince Mohammed bin Salman among professionals.
Cameroonian Leander Tawamba scored the only co-op goal in the tenth minute after a cross by Egyptian Mostafa Fathi, who scored in evading Al-Bateen’s defense, before sending a cross to Tawamba, who headed the goal.
Al-Taawun raised his score to 29 points to “temporarily” move up to twelfth in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Pro Cup standings, while Al-Batin’s balance was frozen at 26 points, in fifteenth and penultimate place.
