The Department of Social Responsibility of the Rabigh College of Business participated in the organization of the World Golf Championship, which was held in the economic city of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in Rabigh with the participation of 288 female volunteers.
Dr. Marwa Ahmed Halavani, Associate Dean of the Rabiga College of Business, emphasized the importance of volunteering both for the individual as a volunteer and for the community through the services it provides. She spoke about the mechanism of work of college students. involvement in volunteer work: some time ago, a volunteer unit was established at Rabigh Business College to encourage female students to participate in cultural, sports, artistic and religious community activities, as well as partnerships with various institutions to help solve community problems through an annual plan, as the unit seeks to build bridges of collaboration and communication between the college and the public and private sectors, but it was not activated, and when the opportunity to participate in the golf tournament came up, we considered this a great opportunity to integrate college students into volunteer work. This is the first event, in which the unit is participating and it is an international event hosted by Rabig Governorate and we intended to participate in the event with the aim of students gaining international experience by discovering and applying the special skills they have acquired by learning and applying them in the field with practical Braz, and indeed the participation was at the highest level.
And see Dr. Marva Farghali, Associate Professor of Marketing and Head of Community Service at the Rabigh College of Business, said volunteering is an opportunity to connect female students and members of the college with the community and is a challenge for all and demonstrates endurance, patience, love of charity and participation. Being ready to face any challenges in the future and to volunteer at a golf event in the city of King Abdullah – this is just the beginning of community activities, and that’s not all, God’s providence.
