Deprivation of Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahly, Al-Khalij and Al-Faihaa of financial support

A number of critics and observers have demanded that the chief executives of clubs that do not meet their first quarter target be held accountable for receiving prescribed management support, given that these managers are responsible for exercising management, and failure to do so means depriving the club of financial support controlled by the state for club support through the management window.

Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nasr, Al-Faiha and Al-Khalij clubs failed to meet the conditions necessary to receive prescribed management support.

The Club Support Strategy Unit of the Ministry of Sports announced that Al Ittihad, Al Ahli and Al Khalij clubs have lost the financial support due to the management allocated for the first quarter of the 2022/2023 campaign. This came after these clubs failed to achieve their goal during this period.

These clubs need to get 5 degrees out of 7 to receive the amount of support, which is estimated at 20 million rials, distributed over four periods during the season.

Thus, the three clubs will not receive the 5 million rials allocated for the first quarter of this season.

These clubs fall under category (C) and include Abha, Al Raed, Riyadh Al Adala and Al Qadisiyah. Al-Batin, Al-Wehda and Damak and you have succeeded in reaching the goal of being eligible for support during this period.

Whereas Al-Hilal, Al-Shabaab and Al-Ettifak clubs fall under category (A) and were able to achieve their goal. Because each club has been allocated 28 million rials of support for four quarters, so each club is due 7 million rials for the first quarter.

Al-Nasr and Al-Fayha also failed to reach the target, as they are in category (B) and have received a subsidy of 23 million riyals distributed quarterly. Support requires 6 points. This category also includes Al-Faisaly, At-Taawun and Al-Fateh clubs.
