His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today met with the President of the United Nations General Assembly at its 77th session, Mr. Chaba Kirushi, at the headquarters of the Ministry in Riyadh. During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in the Republic of the Sudan, as well as the emphasis on ending the conflict and relieving the Sudanese people of further suffering and ensuring that humanitarian aid reaches the affected areas. The parties discussed developments in the region and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, and the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wazel.
