The Arab Republic of Egypt Condemns Israeli Aggression on Jenin

The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned in the strongest possible terms the Israeli occupying forces’ aggression against the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of Palestinians. In a statement today by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt expressed its total rejection of repeated Israeli attacks and incursions on Palestinian cities and the resulting casualties of innocent civilians through the excessive and indiscriminate use of force. These actions are seen as flagrant violations of international law and international legitimacy, and Egypt warns of the dangers of an Israeli escalation.

Egypt called on international actors to intervene and put an end to these violations, ensuring the protection of the Palestinian people, whose suffering is intensifying day by day.

Jordan Condemns Israeli Escalation in Occupied Palestinian Territories

The Jordanian government also condemned the ongoing Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories, with the latest aggression taking place in the city of Jenin. Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ambassador Sinan Majali warned of a continued cycle of violence and called on the international community to take immediate action to stop Israeli attacks on the occupied Palestinian territories.

Ambassador Majali stressed the need to stop the ongoing incursions into Palestinian cities and protect them from repeated attacks, which violate international humanitarian law and Israel’s obligations as the occupying power. He emphasized the urgency of halting the launch of campaigns against the Palestinian people and warned against the consequences of this escalation, as it will only lead to further deterioration of the situation and increased violence.

Ambassador Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s position of rejecting these attacks and all unilateral measures that undermine efforts to achieve calm. He highlighted the necessity for the international community to take immediate and effective action to stop this aggression and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
