The tournament was attended by seven teams from the Arab and Gulf countries, namely the Egyptian Zamalek team, the Qatari team Al Rayyan, the Omani Pioneers of Oman, and the Nejd, Naqi and Jubail Falcons, as well as the team of Arab legends from Saudi Arabia.
