Today, the Saudi Yemen Development and Reconstruction Program laid the cornerstone for the Unity Model Collaborative School project in the village of Milat in Jabal Habashi district, Taiz Governorate.
The Unity Collaborative School will consist of 12 classrooms to support teaching and learning opportunities, meet the needs of knowledge-hungry students, and facilitate access to quality education.
SDRPY projects and initiatives in support of the education sector include the establishment and rehabilitation of schools and universities, including the Sheba Provincial University Development Project and the establishment of 23 model schools and centers for the gifted, containing classrooms, administrative offices, facilities. for teachers, chemistry labs, computer labs, basketball courts and volleyball courts, and was equipped with the latest technology, providing both male and female students with a good learning environment and supporting extra-curricular activities that stimulate innovation and creativity.
Educational projects also include the provision of 26 educational transport buses and a project to print and distribute 548,852 textbooks.
SDRPY education projects and initiatives have contributed to the creation of a good learning environment in addition to equal educational opportunities between the sexes and providing educational and learning opportunities to tens of thousands of male and female students.
This project is among (207) development projects and initiatives implemented by SDRPY in various governorates of Yemen to serve Yemeni brothers in (7) vital and important sectors, namely: education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture and fisheries and building the capacity of government institutions as well as development programs.
