According to Russia Today in Arabic, Zakharova pointed out that Russia has always noted the reluctance of Denmark, Germany and Sweden to conduct an open investigation and opposition to Moscow’s participation in it, “despite the huge costs incurred by the Russian Federation.”
For his part, Secretary General of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Russia’s second-in-command, confirmed that he had no information about who set off the Nord Stream bombings. Russia Today quoted Patrushev in Arabic: “If they mentioned it, you can ask them. I don’t know who blew it up.”
