In an official letter received by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the International Federation praised the remarkable technology development efforts in the Saudi Arabian stadiums, considering the Saudi Arabian Federation as one of the most important federations that contributed to the development of technology and the achievement of its goals in recent years. , and thanked the Saudi Federation for the ongoing collaboration that has led to new advances in VAR technology.
The number of internationally accredited Saudi video judges has reached 51, including 23 field judges and 28 assistant video judges. For his part, the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Association, Yasser Al-Mishal, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the staff of the Referee Committee and the Arbitration Department, given the classification of the Saudi Arabian Football Association as an expert video technology federation. at the international level, as one of the outcomes of the work and planning of the Saudi football strategy.
In February last year, the Saudi Arabian Federation opened the Joint Video Assistant Referee (VAR) Technology Center in the 20th round of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Pro Cup and the Yellow Pro League, making the Saudi Arabian Federation ranked seventh in the world after English, Spanish, German, Dutch, French and Swiss, which opened a single center for the mouse, and the technology was officially approved in the Yellow Professional League as of the second round of the completed sports season.
