For his part, the Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Ba Dheeb, explained that the Saudi Arabian oil derivatives grant is one of the direct aspects of supporting the Yemeni people, as well as direct support for the overall budget, and is a direct provision of the needs of society and the needs of the people, which contributes to mitigating the consequences of the complications of a power outage, which burdens the citizen, in addition, burdens the budget and state revenues of the state.
The new oil derivatives grant is a confirmation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the security, stability and development of the brotherly Yemeni people, and an extension of previous grants totaling $4.2 billion, the latest of which was a grant of $422 million. procurement procedures were completed throughout the year, which contributed to economic stability, strengthened the budget of the Yemeni government, increased the purchasing power of the Yemeni citizen, improved the security situation, and also contributed to the improvement of the service sector, improved the lives of citizens, increased the average daily hours of operation of power plants and ensured the activation of self-sustaining operation of power plants in Yemen.
