Today, Monday, the Qatar Ministry of the Interior announced the extension of the Haya card for fans and organizers and allowing its holders visitors to enter Qatar from today until January 24, 2024, subject to a series of conditions and controls. It includes the following:
– Proof of a confirmed hotel booking or accommodation for friends and family issued by the “Haya” platform.
The validity of the passport upon arrival in Qatar is at least 3 months.
Obtaining medical insurance for the period of stay in Qatar.
– Obtaining a round-trip ticket.
The ministry indicated that the Haya card provides visitors to its holders with a number of benefits, according to this extension, the most notable of which is the use of the “Come with me” service to apply for three members of their family or friends to visit the country through the Haya application or platform, and also several times to enter and leave the country.
Electronic gates can also be used in the ports of the country and do not require the payment of “free” fees.
She explained that the conditions apply to all Haya cardholders in the various categories that were valid during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
