His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today attended the meeting of the Ministerial Contact Group on Syria in the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman Hashemite, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Iraq and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting, consultations and an exchange of views took place on the efforts made to achieve a political solution to the Syrian crisis, which will put an end to all its consequences and preserve the unity, security, stability and Arab identity of Syria, and return it to its Arab environment. in such a way as to achieve the good of his brotherly people.

The ministers also stressed the importance of resolving the humanitarian crisis, creating the proper conditions for the delivery of aid to all regions of Syria, creating the necessary conditions for the return of Syrian refugees and displaced persons to their areas, ending their suffering, enabling them to return. safely reach their homeland, and take further measures that would contribute to the stabilization of the situation throughout the Syrian territory.

After that, commemorative photos were taken in honor of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, heads of delegations of the countries participating in the Amman Consultative Meeting.

The delegation of the Kingdom participating in the meeting included Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Jordan Nayef Al-Sudairi and Director-General of His Highness’s Office Foreign Minister Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
