His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today met with His Excellency Fuad Muhammad Hussain, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2023 Annual Meeting in the Swiss city of Davos. The meeting addressed aspects of a strong and established relationship between the two fraternal countries, ways to support and strengthen them in all areas of joint cooperation, as well as issues of intensifying bilateral cooperation in order to fulfill the aspirations of the two countries and two fraternal peoples.
The parties discussed strengthening the efforts of the two countries to maintain security and stability in the Middle East region, and also considered the most important topics on the Davos 2023 agenda, including the promotion of sustainable development throughout the world.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Swiss Confederation, Dr. Adel Merdad, and the Director General of His Highness’s Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
