His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Foreign Minister, met today with the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Mr. Geir Pedersen, on the sidelines of the 2023 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. .
During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations to achieve a political solution to the Syrian crisis, and discussed the most important developments in the regional and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Swiss Confederation, Dr. Adel Merdad, and the Director General of His Highness’ Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
