Gaza Endures Intense Israeli Airstrikes and Bombardment

Throughout yesterday, Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip continued, where the death toll reached 20 people, intensive raids continued, as Israeli warning sirens were turned on in Ashkelon and the Lachish region. On the other hand, several Palestinian rockets fell. inside a busy interior. Addressing the mayors, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “We are ready for the possibility of expanding the operation and holding new strikes.”

IDF spokesman Avichai Adrai said, “The IDF targeted the vehicle carrying the activists to the missile launch site,” stressing that “the IDF will continue to work to ensure the safety and security of Israeli citizens.”

For his part, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stressed that “the time for killings has come.”

The official Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said the clashes erupted after “a large force of the occupying army stormed the city and raided a number of houses of citizens in the western area, ransacked them and tampered with their contents.”
