Gunfire Games Confirms Post-Launch Support for Remnant II
In a recent interview with WCCFTech, John Pearl and Ben Cureton from Gunfire Games have revealed some exciting details about the upcoming game Remnant II. The game will not only receive free updates for balance and quality of life improvements, but also post-launch paid DLC.
When asked about their plans for post-launch support, Pearl confirmed the existence of paid DLC, although no further details were provided. He stated, “We’re looking to support the game well after launch with updates as well as paid DLC. We’re not currently discussing details on DLC other than to say we are doing some. We’ll have more info to discuss on it later.”
Cureton also mentioned that besides balance patches, they are working on incorporating quality of life (QOL) features into the game. These QOL updates will be provided free of charge.
Remnant II is set to release on July 25, 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Gunfire Games had previously confirmed that the game will feature a 60 FPS Performance Mode for PS5, although there’s no word on a Quality Mode yet.
