The shocking moments that a woman experienced because of her husband’s anger at her visit to a beauty salon in Turkmenistan against the backdrop of “moral” repression by the country’s authorities.

Painful video clip shows how a crazy husband brutally beats his wife after he caught her in a beauty salon. The Turkmen government has tightened its grip on women’s rights since new President Serdar Berdymukhammedov came to power in March, succeeding his father, Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, who won 73 percent of the vote in an election international observers say was neither free nor fair.

And since April, police have arrested dozens of women on the street for wearing false nails, eyelashes, and other beauty products. Police are also looking for women who think they may have lip fillers and other cosmetic changes. In this atmosphere, in the shocking video, a man was seen beating and kicking his wife in front of onlookers who could not prevent his attack.

The British Daily Mail reported that the aggressive husband burst into the salon and yelled at the terrified wife: “Since when have we been looking for you? You can’t walk…. The video shows that the husband first pushed her and then walked away, only to return seconds later with a heinous attack that left her trembling on the ground.

The attack is believed to have been recorded in a makeshift salon in Kiyoshi, near the capital Ashgabat, and the act was a departure from her husband’s power and acts of sabotage in a country ruled by a new 40-year-old dictator. Authorities raided salons, arresting some women for looking “too illegal” and issuing decrees forbidding women from sitting in the front seats of cars.
