The Yemeni government clarified that the first commercial flight from Sana’a International Airport in Yemen, scheduled for yesterday, was delayed due to the intransigence of the Houthi militias.

She explained that as a result of refusal and obstruction by the Houthi militias, the scheduled flight for 24 April was delayed until the militias returned to their agreed commitments.

For his part, Yemeni Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani held the Iranian-backed militias fully responsible for the failure of the flight, which was supposed to fly from the Yemeni capital to Amman as part of the announced two-month truce agreement.
