In Wyoming, Donald Trump is yet to come, and for daring to challenge the former president, Republican Liz Cheney, elected to represent this ultra-conservative state in the American West, one of the toughest campaigns to convince voters to elect her is coming.
More than a year ago, Cheney spoke out strongly against Trump’s theory that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him, an idea that millions of his supporters still believe in despite countless evidence to the contrary.
Liz Cheney argues that “America cannot remain free if we refuse the truth” and promises to do everything in her power to prevent the former president from approaching the White House again.
On Tuesday, she will try to stay in her seat in Wyoming, where more than seventy percent of voters voted for Trump in the last presidential election against Joe Biden.
