An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit Campbell Bay in India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. According to the Middle East News Agency, citing the National Seismological Center of India, the quake’s epicenter was at a depth of 60 kilometers and at a distance of 218 kilometers north of Campbell Bay.
There were no reports of human casualties or property damage as a result of the earthquake.
