FIFA commented on their original tweet with another image of the duo during World Cup matches as Morocco played France in the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar. Football news website Goal reported that Mbappé and Hakimi traveled to New York to watch the Brooklyn Nets play in the NBA following Paris Saint-Germain’s surprise loss to Lance.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier said that Mbappe and Hakimi had “a few days off” after their quick return to the Parc des Princes after the 2022 World Cup. Mbappe led France to second place in Qatar, with Hakimi helping Morocco to become the first Arab. the country advanced to the semi-finals.
