Iran ready to transfer experience of facing sanctions to Syria

Iran’s Ambassador to Damascus, Mehdi Sobhani, stated that the relations between Iran and Syria are at a high and excellent level, emphasizing that his country is ready to transfer its experiences in dealing with sanctions to Syria.

In an interview with Al-Alam channel, Mehdi Sobhani said, “The relations between the two countries are at a high and excellent level and I can say that the two countries have always supported each other in various political forums, whether at the regional or world level, then the relations of the two countries are exemplary. We are determined that our ideal relationship is not only limited to the political, strategic and military levels, but also encompasses the economic, cultural, social and scientific sectors.”

On the question: “Syria defeated terrorism in cooperation with Iran and Russia. How does Iran help Syria against US sanctions imposed on it to secure the livelihood of its citizens?”

Subhani replied: “We believe the war is not over yet. It is true that the guns are silent on the ground and in the face of terrorists and their supporters, but the enemies still practice other levels of terror against the Syrian people, so they have put an unjust ban on the Syrian people and are trying to achieve what they could not do during the war and terrorist attack on Syria.” and today we see that they are targeting the public by putting pressure on the economic sector.
