The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has strongly condemned an attack by Houthi militias using drones in an attempt to strike the port of Qena in Yemen’s Shabwa governorate.
The General Secretariat condemned the attack on civilian and vital installations in the Republic of Yemen, warned of its consequences and demanded an end to it, emphasizing the position of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in support of the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen and alleviating the suffering of its people.
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation reaffirmed its support for the efforts of the UN and the international community to extend the truce in Yemen and achieve a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis in accordance with the three links, in order to realize the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, peace and stability.
