The under-17 national team beat host Romania 2-1 in a match that brought them together tonight, Thursday, at the Mogosvaia Stadium as part of an international friendly tournament in Romania, in which the Greens are participating on the sidelines of their preparatory camp, which will run until the tenth of this month as part of the 2023 AFC U-17 Cup Qualifiers.
Romania opened the scoring in the 2nd minute of the first half, Farha Al-Shamrani equalized in the 69th minute and in the 94th minute Ammar Al-Yahibi scored the winning goal.
Technical director Abdel Wahab Al-Harbi came to the meeting with a list consisting of: Mahmoud Al-Barah as a goalkeeper, Ziad Ayyash, Yassin Khaled, Abdel Salam Barnawi, Saad Al-Mutairi, Jazoub Al-Dafiri, Muhammad Khazazi, Farha al- Shamrani, Nawaf al-Jadaani, Nawaf al-Janahi, Nawaf al-Bishri.
In the friendly tournament in Romania, the under-17 team will play Norway next Saturday and Japan on Monday evening.
