His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Sports Council, President of the State Office for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, commended the efforts of His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Mohammed, Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations in the service of athletics in international and regional levels, emphasizing that his presence as vice-president of the International Federation is a source of pride for every Arab and has contributed to the cause of the game. This reinforced his many years of experience in this field, gained during the reception of Prince Nawaf by Sheikh Khalid in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, on issues related to the International Association of Athletics Federations.
For his part, Prince Nawaf thanked the brothers in Bahrain for their hospitality and good reception, praising the high level of Bahrain’s athletics and the fact that it is at the forefront of the world and the region.
