The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, as facilitators of a short-term ceasefire and humanitarian efforts, call on the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces to continue discussions to reach an agreement on an extension of the ceasefire, which will end on May 29, 2023 AD at 09:45 minutes Khartoum time . Since the agreement is not finalized, the extension will facilitate the delivery of the humanitarian aid needed by the Sudanese people. In the absence of an agreement to extend the current ceasefire, both sides remain obligated to honor their short-term ceasefire commitments and commit themselves to protecting civilians in Sudan.dv
