Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp blamed a “lack of organisation” for his modest team’s 3-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League on Saturday, and Klopp said in post-match media statements: “The players themselves have previously played amazing matches, but if we didn’t play organized we might look like this.” And the German coach asked: “How can I not worry after such a match? I can’t stand here and say I’m not worried, of course we’re very worried.” Winger Solly March scored two first goals in the second half and scored another to give Brighton a 3-0 victory over lowly guests Liverpool and move them up to seventh in the standings.
This is Brighton’s first League of Fire victory over Liverpool and it was well-deserved after Marsh led the team to translate their control into goals.
Marsh scored from close range in the 47th minute after Liverpool lost the ball in midfield and Japan’s Kaoru Mitoma shot from the left before passing to his colleague, and 6 minutes later the 28-year-old added a second goal when he received Ivan Ferguson’s pass with a kick. Fantastic in the far corner is Alisson Becker, Liverpool’s goalkeeper.
