The Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported that explosions were heard in the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv itself, as well as in the Kyiv region.
The channel indicated that the air defense systems of the Ukrainian forces are responding to air targets over the region.
According to the TV channel, at the moment the state of air alert has been declared in almost the entire territory of Ukraine, with the exception of the western regions.
The Russian military began bombing Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, two days after the Crimean Bridge attack, which Russian authorities confirmed was planned and carried out by Ukrainian intelligence. Russian bombing attacks typically target energy facilities, defense industries, and military command and communications centers throughout the country. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced in many regions of Ukraine every day, and sometimes throughout the country.
